Kushee Ravi's assertion that there aren't many excellent scripts in Kannada cinema
"Following the success and dubbing of my Kannada web series Ayyana Mane into other languages, I was questioned as to whether I had received a flood of offers. Even though I've been getting movie proposals, they haven't been in Kannada. The amount of scripts that have been sent to me has decreased dramatically, according to other female actors, and I'm not sure why. I hope this changes and I get to collaborate with incredible teams like the one behind Son of Muthanna,” Kushee said during the recent press conference.
The actress continued, stating that the difficulty for artists like herself is in striking a balance between taking on every role available, regardless of its caliber, and being selective even when there is little work to choose from. At the moment, she has decided to pursue high-quality work, regardless of its source, but she insists that Kannada film is and will continue to be her top priority.

In her opinion, there are not enough talented authors or young filmmakers who will produce original, fresh ideas for the big screen. "Heroes and heroines will also gain in the process as you allow new talent to flourish and good stories to reach the screen," the actress says, adding that she is presently working on a few Tamil and Telugu films. They are considering releasing by the end of the year a Tamil picture that I am working on with Selvaraghavan sir, and they are looking at finishing it in one schedule. "The movie offers me a decent narrative and character, and it's a fantastic chance to collaborate with a legend like him," she says.
