When asked if "being a young girl" made her reluctant to marry film director Ramesh Sippy, who was "much older," more than 30 years ago, actor Kiran Joneja replied. Given that Kiran had previously been married, she recently asked Lehren Retro if she was certain about getting married to him.

The age difference between Ramesh Sippy and Kiran, who claims to be his second wife, is discussed.

Since Kiran Joneja was not a "home breaker," it didn't matter to her, she explained. "If I had been the home breaker, I would have known the situation was, and you would have been married. I wasn't concerned about the fact that I broke into a house. However, I have always gotten along better with older people, whether they be men or women. I'm not sure what it was, but maybe I was too mature for my age. I was unable to connect with guys my age on an emotional level. He was a bit older, but I ignored it.

Kiran explained why she was drawn to Ramesh.

Kiran stated that "his personality" was the reason she fell for him when asked what drew her to him. She continued by saying that he was "humble and polite" and never treated anyone unfairly. Kiran said she liked him as a person.

Regarding Kiran and Ramesh

At the age of 44, Ramesh married Kiran in 1991, when she was 27. Prior to this marriage, he had three children—Rohan Sippy, Sonya Sippy, and Sheena Sippy—from his previous union.

Kiran's career as it relates to Ramesh

Among the films that Ramesh has directed are Andaz (1971), Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), Sholay (1975), Shaan (1980), Shakti (1982), Saagar (1985), Bhrashtachar (1989), Akayla (1991), and Zamana Deewana (1995). Additionally, he oversaw the television series Gaatha (1997) and Buniyaad (1986).

Kiran has played a variety of roles in movies, including Ek Misaal, Mulzim, Badi Bahen, Zamaana Deewanam, Bunty Aur Babli, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Jab We Met, Fashion, Chandni Chowk to China, Badmaash Company, and Shimla Mirchi. She also appeared in a number of series, such as Wah Janaab, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Buniyaad, Mahabharat, Junoon, and Sinndoor.
