The new collaboration between Sathya Jyothi Films and Max maker Vijay Kartikeyaa, which Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep has stated is not a follow-up to their debut picture together, has just begun. Vijay has promised that the unnamed film will be a huge crowd-pleaser that Sudeep fans will adore. As with Max, this time too, the director doesn't provide Sudeep with a leading lady.

And once more, the filmmaker's original intention was not the same as Max's. Although it was a flashback, Max's original screenplay had a romantic interest between Sudeep's character Arjun Mahakshay and Max's character, but the Kannada celebrity thought it was an unnecessary distraction from the plot. This time around, Vijay's tale features a female protagonist, but she and Sudeep's persona are unrelated.

Kiccha Sudeep: The character and the actor would not receive fair treatment from us

There was a heroine in the story when Vijay showed me the screenplay, and there still is. It's simply that, in this narrative, we have nothing to do with one another. The two protagonists were connected, and this was shown through a few flashback moments. But this is where my filtering comes in, and I questioned how the tale would be affected if this aspect were excluded from it, Sudeep added during the movie's formal premiere.

According to Sudeep, it's preferable to cut out a scene from the start rather than at the editing table if the removal doesn't affect the plot of the movie in any way, but you have to keep it if it does. I also think that a heroine in my movie should have a really excellent personality. Her inclusion will seem forced if you can't give her that in some tales, he said.

Sudeep didn't think they were giving the character and the actress who would be playing it enough respect when Vijay presented his screenplay. With KGF fame Srinidhi Shetty playing the lead role, Cheran was originally intended to direct Sudeep's movie with Sathya Jyothi Films. At this time, a partnership between Sudeep and Srinidhi seems improbable.
