At the age of 53, the entrepreneur Sunjay Kapur succumbed to a heart attack in London. He was married to actress Karisma Kapoor from 2003 until 2016. At a prayer meeting conducted in Delhi in his honor, the first picture of his grieving wife, Priya Sachdev, was seen.

The defeat makes Priya sad.

A prayer meeting was conducted in Delhi on Sunday in memory of Sunjay, with his family members and close friends present. His former spouse, Karisma Kapoor, and their kids, Samaira and Kiaan, were also there.

Priya Sachdev, Sunjay's wife at the time of his death, also attended the prayer gathering. On social media, one of her images has appeared. This was her first public appearance since the news of his death.

Priya is seen in the photo seated in a white outfit, her hands respectfully folded. It is noteworthy that Karisma, Sunjay's ex-wife, was seen standing behind her, demonstrating her admiration.

Neha Dhupia, Saif Ali Khan, and Kareena Kapoor also joined the prayer meeting.

In an official statement last week, the family disclosed the specifics of Sunjay Kapur's funeral and memorial service. His cremation was in Delhi at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground on Thursday, and the Taj Palace Hotel hosted the prayer gathering on Sunday between 4 and 5 p.m. His mother Rani Surinder Kapur, his wife Priya, and his children Safira and Azarias all signed the statement. It also included the names of his kids, Samaira and Kiaan, from his marriage to Karisma.

Sunjay Kapur's death

On June 12, while competing in a polo game in England, Sunjay passed out. Later speculation suggested that an allergic reaction to a bee sting may have led to the cardiac arrest, even though the early accounts claimed that a heart attack during the game was the cause of his demise. The precise cause of death, though, is still unknown.

Sunjay and Karisma Kapoor got married in 2003. The couple had two children: Kiaan, 13, and Samaira, 19. Karisma and Sanjay jointly petitioned for divorce in 2014. They formally divorced in 2016. Sunjay and Priya Sachdev got married in 2017 after the separation. The couple has only one child, Azarias. When he passed away, he was married to Priya.
