In the wake of the news, Karisma's friends and family gathered around her, including close friend Malaika Arora, sister Kareena Kapoor, and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan, who came to her house late at night to provide comfort and support.

Late Thursday night, Kareena and her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, were observed arriving at Karisma's home in Mumbai to lend a helping hand. Amrita Arora and Malaika Arora were seen outside Karisma's residence at the same time. Shakeel Ladak, Amrita's spouse, joined them.

Malaika is seen wearing a light beige ensemble in the films, looking clearly downcast as she speaks to her family behind a glass door before stepping outside. In another video, Malaika is seen sitting in the backseat of a car with Amrita's kid, trying to cover her face from the cameras.

Kareena and Saif were observed outside Karisma's home, their faces marked with sadness. Kareena made an effort to cover her face from the photographers by placing her hand over it as they later left. Karima has not yet spoken out about the passing of her ex-husband.

Sunjay Kapur passes away from a heart attack

Sunjay Kapur, a businessman and former husband of actress Karisma Kapoor, passed away Thursday night. He suffered a heart attack while playing polo and died, according to an India Today story. Sunjay and Karisma got married in 2003, and in June 2016, they finalized their divorce. When the couple sought a divorce in 2005, the Delhi High Court recommended that they look into the possibility of a settlement. Karisma relocated to Mumbai from his Delhi home in 2010, the year her younger son Kiaan was born. The couple made the decision to divorce and filed for divorce in 2014.
