Sunjay Kapur's funeral: In Delhi on June 19, the Kapoor sisters were seen standing side by side during Sunjay Gupta's burial. After having a heart attack while playing polo in London on June 12, industrialist Sunjay—the former husband of Karisma Kapoor—passed away. Kareena stood with Karisma and her children, Samaira and Kiaan, as they gave their last respects at his funeral.

Images and videos from the funeral have been posted on a number of Instagram paparazzi accounts. One video shows Kareena strolling alongside Karisma after they give their floral tribute to Sunjay. As they stroll past numerous relatives and well-wishers, Kareena lays her hand on Karisma's arm..

In another image, Kiaan and Samaira may be seen hugging one other. Kareena supported the three of them, while Karisma stood next to them. Saif, Kareena's spouse, could be seen standing immediately behind her.

In a prior Instagram video, Karisma was seen with Samaira and Kiaan presenting floral tributes to the late businessman. The final rites for Sunjay were performed at the New Delhi Lodhi Road Cremation Ground. According to a message that is circulating on social media, a prayer meeting will be held between 4 pm and 5 pm on June 22 at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi.

Regarding Sunjay Kapur's demise

During a polo game in England on June 12, Sunjay passed away. In a statement, his company, Sona Comstar, attributed the cause of death to a heart attack but did not provide any additional information. The reason of his passing has not yet been formally disclosed.

Sunjay married Karisma in 2003. Samaira, 19, and Kiaan, 13, were the couple's two children. Karisma and Sanjay petitioned for divorce by mutual agreement in 2014, and the divorce was granted in 2016.
