For the past 34 years, Kajol has worked as an actor in the entertainment industry. As one might expect, she has experienced the highs and lows of being an actor and is accustomed to the continual attention that comes with it. But her children are still unfamiliar with this. Although her song Yug (14) is still too young to receive media coverage, her daughter Nysa (22) has endured more than her fair share of internet harassment over the years. Kajol responds to these harsh statements in an honest interview with HT and explains how she empowers Nysa to handle them.

Regarding being a protective parent, Kajol

Maa, Kajol's upcoming movie, will be released later this month, and she is now promoting it. Kajol plays a mother in the movie who is trying to shield her daughter from the forces of evil. The performer confesses to being a protective mother. "I used to be an Eela (a controlling parent she played in Helicopter Eela), but not anymore; I am much calmer and cooler. However, I am protective," she says.

Therefore, we ask her how she handles the hatred her children, especially her daughter Nysa, receive online. "Being a protective parent, how do you restrain yourself from punching someone writing mean things about your child?" we ask, tongue firmly in cheek. "Well, I would say don't come in front of my car, or I'll drive over you," Kajol quips and laughs.

"You have to focus on the positive"

But then the actor gets serious and says, "I keep telling them, 'It's only 1% or 0.1% of people who are talking like that'. I don't even know if they are even real, to be honest. You don't know how much of it is real."

While interacting with online feedback, she shares the guidance she offers Nysa. "You must focus on the positive." You will receive 999 remarks stating "she is amazing," "she is beautiful," etc. if you have a thousand. They receive so much love and so many blessings. Focus on that and don't give these people too much attention. All you can do is that," advises Kajol.

Kajol and Ajay Devgn, her husband and fellow actor, have a daughter named Nysa. Nysa was born in 2003 and is now attending school in another country. Both Ajay and Kajol have said in the past that she is not interested in working in the film industry. Kajol's upcoming film, Maa, which is directed by Vishal Furia and stars Indraneil Sengupta and Ronit Roy, will be her next release. The movie will be available in theaters on June 27.
