The 50-year-old celebrity discussed the topic of aging and how it may impact one's self-perception in a Filmfare interview. "It's not a big deal. A reminder of whether you are heading in the correct direction in life. I've been moving in the right direction," the actor from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai stated.

Kajol also shared her thoughts on cosmetic surgery. She said that one should introspect before choosing any such treatments, even if it is a "dicey" topic.

"Cosmetic surgery is a risky subject. If I had a birthmark that prevented me from going somewhere, I would have it removed. Such procedures are necessary for acid attack and fire victims. Cosmetic surgery, on the other hand, is a personal decision that is entirely up to the individual. However, it shouldn't be anything like, "I want good cheekbones, so let me have them." Before making any adjustments to that aspect of the body, one should ascertain whether it's essential. If so, go ahead.

Regarding Kajol's most recent endeavor

With Maa, a mythological horror, Kajol returns after his most recent appearance in Do Patti. Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Subbarayan, who are married, produced the movie, while Vishal Furia directed it.

The trailer for the movie, which was released yesterday, is receiving praise for its horror and narrative features. Kajol plays a strong, defensive mother who battles to keep her daughter safe from the grip of demons in the movie. Maa, which also features Indraneil Sengupta, Ronit Roy, Jitin Gulati, and Kherin Sharma, will be released in theaters on June 27.
