In a recent behind-the-scenes story from the 1993 smash movie Baazigar, Bollywood actress Kajol described how she was unable to help but laugh during a touching scene. In an interview with The Lallantop, Kajol said that the director pair Abbas-Mustan gave her a dressing down for laughing when she saw Shilpa Shetty's flawless feet while playing a "dead body" scene. The internet didn't think the incident was as funny as Kajol did.

During Baazigar, Kajol can be seen laughing at Shilpa Shetty's feet.

Kajol remembered how director Abbas reprimanded her for laughing incessantly throughout a sad scene in Baazigar, saying, "Bechari Shilpa ke saath hua (Poor Shilpa was in the scene)." For some reason, I couldn't help but giggle at her feet during the dead body scene. Looking at them, I wondered, "Who applies this much nail polish while dying?" I couldn't stop giggling as I stared at her feet.

"I kept laughing, Oh my god this is so funny, Shilpa's feet and nail polish," she said. "Baby no, listen, you have to give shot right now and cry," Abbas bhai said. However, I was unable to restrain myself. After that, Abbas bhai yelled at me, telling me to "stop it." Imagine if it was your real sister, would you be laughing like this? My mood changed immediately (That completely flipped my mood)."

Kajol is referred to as a bully in online calls.

The incident elicited a response from the internet. "Kajol possessed all the confidence in the world because she belonged to the industry," one of the remarks said. And Kajol's behavior, which was inappropriate, was disguised as rudeness by the public. "The interviewer is not amused one bit, and neither am I," someone else added. As a nepo kid, she could afford that laid-back attitude, said one more. If Shilpa had done the same thing, either the producer would have reprimanded her or they would have kicked her out of the film. She was referred to as a "bully" by one Redditor, and "she gets away with rudeness," another Redditor added.

With Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Shilpa Shetty in key roles, Baazigar, directed by Abbas-Mustan, revolutionized Hindi film with its daring plot, in which the protagonist takes on an anti-hero persona, which was uncommon at the time. The movie gained a cult following and was a financial hit.

Kajol's upcoming movie

Kajol will be next seen in Karan Johar's production Sarzameen. Directed by Boman Irani's son Kayoze Irani, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release on Jio Hotstar on July 25.
