Kajol Applauds Ajay Devgn’s Dedication as Producer on ‘Maa’: “He’s Truly Hands-On, We’ve Created Something Special”

Kajol is preparing for the premiere of her next mythological horror movie, Maa. Her husband, the actor Ajay Devgn, co-produces it. This is Kajol's debut in the horror genre. In an interview with ANI, Kajol discussed her off-screen collaboration with Ajay on Maa, describing him as a "very hands-on producer."

What Kajol stated

"He (Ajay) is a very hands-on producer," Kajol said, complimenting Ajay during the conversation. He has devoted a great deal of care to every aspect of this film, from the script to the music and visual effects. In my opinion, the VFX make up a significant portion of the movie. Furthermore, shooting VFX is a different ballgame, as they say, so he has gone into great detail. He has been a very hands-on producer.

"I'm very proud of this movie."

She discussed the movie, which is her first return to the big screen in three years. “I am really thrilled that my film is finally being released in theatres after such a long absence. Every actor must reinvent themselves over time. I had never imagined making a horror picture, but here we are. This movie makes me really happy. The screenplay is rather excellent. I am a major lover of mythology, particularly Indian mythology. There are several tales to tell. As a result, it was among my favorite tales, I believe. I believe we produced an excellent movie. The director of Maa is Vishal Furia. Kajol is depicted as a powerful, protective mother who battles to shield her daughter from the grasp of demons. Along with Indraneil Sengupta, Ronit Roy, Jitin Gulati, and Kherin Sharma, Maa will hit theaters on June 27.
