The Traitors India season 1, produced by Karan Johar, has been extremely compelling since each episode features conflict, debate, and betrayal. Janvee Gaurr receives little attention in the palace, but the contestants believe Uorfi Javed has the power to sway everyone's vote against the individual she believes should be eliminated. But Janvee was just ousted, and during her time in the palace, she frequently engaged in disputes with the other candidates, particularly Maheep Kapoor, since they both believed the other was the traitor. After being evicted, Janvee had an exclusive interview with OTTplay where she discussed a variety of issues relating to The Traitors, her cold war with Maheep Kapoor, Harsh Gujral's claim that she used 'kaala jaadu', and other topics.

Janvee Gaurr on performing The Traitors

"It was great," Janvee Gaurr said when asked about her experience on The Traitors. When something like this happens to you at the age of 50, it's really enjoyable, and every day is full of fun and excitement in preparation for it, including memories from your childhood, games, disagreements, and disputes. Even though there was a little bit of everything, I wouldn't want to go back and change a single thing because I had such a great time.

"The Traitors India isn't quite as hot as The Traitors UK or the United States, in my opinion. The cocktails are fantastic, and with the exception of maybe one or two of us, the group of 20 was a great mix.

Janvee Gaurr discusses why she agreed to star in The Traitors

I don't think I ever use the word "no" since I'm a "yes" man in real life. I am a very 'yes' person, but only when something annoys me. I'm a tarot reader who says yes to the majority of things, and I've always known that my moment of fame has arrived. Last year, I had a few show offers, but I wasn't sure. Then, this (The Traitors) came along, and I said, "Yes, I am doing this show definitely." She also mentioned that she is an athletic person, which is why she believes the program was created for her.

Janvee Gaurr asked if she used her spiritual energy to spot the traitors

Raj Kundra placed him on the platter that he is the traitor in the first episode, thus I didn't need any sixth sense. He was excessively nice. He was saying so many terrible things about me, but he also added, "I like your trousers Janvee Ji." To which I replied, "No, my trousers are not nice. I don't like them. why do you like them?" Things like this make things obvious. I informed everyone in the first episode that I believe Elnaaz Norouzi is the traitor. I told Elnaaz straight up that I believe you are a traitor. The tarot cards also revealed that Purav Jha is the traitor. I wanted to stay in the game, but I didn't want to consult the tarot every day.

Janvee Gaurr's comment on Harsh Gujral's 'kaala jaadu' statement

"We are playing women's card, people claim, but I'm simply telling the truth." You are accused of doing really well in this area if a woman excels in a lot of things.. 

I often hear this as an astrologer because when a customer is pleased with your service, the enemies of that person say, "Oh, you go to that lady and do the kaala jaadu," so I hear a lot of that nonsense, but I don't really care. However, on that specific day, I was already looking for reasons from everyone where I would act funny because I wanted to show them that I am not the traitor. I was starting a fight with everyone, but Harsh made that fight and told me, "You do kaala jaadu, you did that jaadu-tona on me." I didn't really care about it, but I thought of making a scene and I got a free pass for 6 nights because of that.

However, I had a pleasant conversation with Harsh the following day and explained to him that this was my game plan. He's a fantastic man. He didn't intend any harm. However, I took advantage of it, which was foolish of me, but it was a matter of survival (smiles).

Maheep Kapoor by Janvee Gaurr

Janvee remarked that she had a great time playing games in The Traitors and said, "Maheep abused me." Even though she used a really nasty term at me, it didn't have much of an impact. The pot should be stirred. My presence was sufficient for them since I am not a flat line. People were annoyed by me when I was there, so it's alright. It's nice. It reveals a great deal about me and a great deal less about them.

When asked if we would see Janvee in The Traitors India 2, she smiled and said, "I don't think they are calling me." Even though I'm sure—one hundred percent sure—that I won't be receiving a call to come back to Season 2, I would absolutely accept it if I did. However, I don't believe anything like this will occur. I'll look into the tarot, but I've never seen anything like this before (smiles).

Janvee Gaurr predicts who will win season one of The Traitors

"I can't say that. I'd be happy if Harsh or Apoorva won the game, but Apoorva didn't. However, I am unable to discuss who will win or anything like that. I would have been delighted if I had won, or if Apoorva, Sufi, or Harsh had won. Sudhanshu Pandey was silent, and Ashish Vidyarthi was sleeping a lot. I would certainly like my friends to win. On that, I am quite certain.

The final episode of The Traitors, which features seven candidates, two of whom are traitors, will be available on Prime Video on July 3 at 8 p.m. They include Sudhanshu Pandey, Nikita Luther, Jasmin Bhasin, Uorfi Javed, Harsh Gujral (traitor), Purav Jha (traitor), and Apoorva Mukhija.
