One of the most exciting and fascinating episodes of The Great Indian Kapil Show is scheduled for this weekend. The series, which will debut on Netflix on July 12, features an upbeat episode full of uplifting anecdotes and unexpected discoveries, as well as a surprise foreign visitor, Jackson Wang, along with four of India's most well-known OTT stars—Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Jitendra Kumar, and Pratik Gandhi.

The four guests share the experiences that led to their rise to fame, whether they were struggling performers or streaming celebrities.

From IIT classrooms to Kapil's couch

From Kota Factory, Jitendra, who goes by the name Jeetu Bhaiya, said that his performance was not merely method acting but that he is actually an IIT graduate himself. Kapil was taken aback by his decision to give up engineering, which led Pratik, a fellow guest, to remark, "Engineering ke baad aapko sach mein pata chalta hai ki aapko life mein kya karna hai. (After Engineering, you realize what you want to do in life)."

Vijay and Jaideep knew from the beginning that they were destined to be actors, but Jitendra and Pratik discovered their passion for acting after finishing their engineering studies. Vijay told a captivating tale about how he fled home to attend FTII with the assistance of a buddy who covered his tuition. "Maine kaha ab permission toh nahi milegi ghar se, bhaagte hain — toh main ghar se bhaag gaya!" he said with a chuckle. (I said, let's run away; I won't get permission from home.) Vijay and Jaideep had always fantasized about appearing on the big screen alongside each other, Jaideep said.

Kapil's program features Janckson Wang's debut.

Just when viewers believed the episode had reached its high point, K-pop sensation Jackson Wang unexpectedly appeared on the TGIKS set, signaling one of the season's most discussed crossovers. While Jackson was seen instructing the four performers on dance routines, Pratik suddenly interjected, "Arey, ye to Garba hai!" which made everyone on the set laugh.
