Sports reporter Jackie Redmond came out as a strong supporter of Taylor Swift following the pop star's visit to the Stanley Cup.

Numerous social media users were outraged by the live broadcast of a Stanley Cup Finals game, which featured Swift and her boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce.

According to Jackie Redmond, Swift gave the NHL some much-needed exposure and brought attention to the sport.

"Can we please get over the fact that the biggest pop star in the world went to a hockey game and we showed her - gasp! - after 48 hours?" Heaven forbid a celebrity highlight a sport that people repeatedly claim needs more exposure! Redmond posted on social media platform X, "Hope y'all had the same energy for Chalamet at Knicks games."
