Many movie sequels, including No Entry 2, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and others, have been making headlines. A report now mentioned that Dishoom 2 was also a possibility. The movie at issue is a follow-up to Dishoom (2016), which stars John Abraham and Varun Dhawan. Akshay Kumar is expected to be cast alongside Varun and John in the sequel.

The Dishoom sequel has been overdue for several years, according to Filmfare. The group that produced the 2016 blockbuster has been wanting to make this movie for a while, but their intention to go bigger and bolder didn't come to fruition. Things, however, appear to be falling into place now that Akshay Kumar has agreed to be a part of the sequel, according to the insider.
Rohit Dhawan, Varun Dhawan's brother, directed Sajid Nadiadwala's Dishoom. The source went on to state that the crew of Rohit, Varun, John, and Akshay have worked together to create an intriguing action movie for the audience, but Rohit's role in the film is still up in the air. Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 5 will star Akshay Kumar.
