Raman Rai Handa, the father of actress Mannara Chopra, who is related to Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra, passed away on June 16 at the age of 72. His cremation ceremony took place in Mumbai on Thursday. When the actor arrived in town for the cremation ceremony, he was seen with his sister Mitali Handa and other members of his family. While carrying their father's mortal remains, both Mannara and Mitali sobbed uncontrollably.

Kamini Chopra Handa, his wife, and his daughters, Mannara and Mitali, are the only surviving members of Raman Rai Handa's family. Raman Handa practiced law at the Delhi High Court. He wed Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra's father's sister, Kamini Chopra.
The passing of Raman Rai Handa, their uncle, was also mourned by Priyanka Chopra and her brother Siddharth Chopra. "You'll always be in our hearts. Rest easy Raman uncle (fufaji).
