The lead actress from the first film, Ileana D'Cruz (Mubarakan), revealed the reasons why she couldn't participate in Ajay Devgn (Gangaajal)'s Raid 2 tentative OTT release date, which was announced just hours prior. For the uninitiated, Raid 2 is the second-highest grossing Bollywood movie, while Vicky Kaushal's (Uri) Chhaava is still at the top. The fact that Ileana played a key role in the first episode but wasn't able to participate in the second caused suspicion. In a recent Q&A session, she answered all questions. The actress made the following statement:

The reason Ileana D'Cruz wasn't able to participate in Raid 2

Because her priorities had shifted, Ileana D'Cruz said that she had been given the opportunity to star in Raid 2 but was unable to do so. When the script was presented to the actress, she was already a mom, and despite her desire to reprise the character, her motherly instinct compelled her to reject it.

Ileana praised Vaani Kapoor during her Instagram Q&A, but only in response to commercials she saw. The actress indirectly acknowledged that she has not seen the film, but she did notice the chemistry in the trailers she has come across.

Concerning Raid 2

Ajay Devgn and Raj Kumar Gupta's Raid 2 was a commercial success, and the plot has drawn everyone's attention. At his own expense, Ajay Devgn's Amay Patnaik stood up against Dada Bhai (Riteish Deshmukh), leaving a hook point every minute as the movie went on. The best narrative was when Dada Bhai and Tauji (Saurabh Shukla from Raid 1), the original villain, shook hands as Dada Bhai was being taken to jail. This has led to speculation that there will be a third installment, which would be fascinating to see.
