With the same enthusiasm, I will continue to make more good films under our ‘Maa Aayi Creations’ banner. He blessed me wholeheartedly, saying that I would grow greatly as both a hero and a producer. What more could I ask for!” said a delighted Rupeysh.

The film ‘Shashtipoorthi’, produced by Rupeysh under the Maa Aayi Creations banner, stars Nataka Kiriti Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Archana, Rupeysh, and Akanksha in lead roles. Directed by Pavan Prabha, the film was released on May 30 and is receiving good public response.

On the occasion of Ilaiyaraaja’s birthday on Tuesday morning, the Shashtipoorthi team traveled to Chennai to wish him in person. Dr. Rajendra Prasad showered flowers on Ilaiyaraaja as a mark of respect. During this visit, when Dr. Rajendra Prasad sang songs from the films ‘April 1 Vidudala’, ‘Preminchu Pelladu‘ , Ilaiyaraaja praised him, saying, “You’re singing very well, Prasad.”

Ilaiyaraaja spent about an hour chatting with Rajendra Prasad, Rupeysh, Pavan Prabha, lyricist Chaitanya Prasad, and cinematographer Ram, and congratulated them for making a good effort with ‘Shashtipoorthi’.
