The news that Navjot Singh Sidhu would be making a comeback on his program thrilled the audience lately, according to comedian Kapil Sharma. Sidhu referred to his comeback as a "homecoming" in his most recent vlog and reflected on how he had played a key role in assisting Kapil in starting his own program thirteen years prior.

Kapil Sharma gained notoriety while Sidhu was a judge on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, as he recalled. Kapil joined Comedy Circus after the performance, where Sidhu said "he was being exploited and lacked an individual identity."

Sidhu also mentioned his brief stint on Bigg Boss, which he used to make money to purchase a home in Amritsar. He stated that Raj Nayak, the former head of Colors, only consented to give Kapil a solo program following his eviction if Sidhu participated. With Dharmendra as the debut guest, Kapil subsequently launched Comedy Nights With Kapil. The show's popularity soared after that. Due to politics and conspiracies, however, Sidhu said he was forced to retire from it.

People would ask me, "Why aren't you going back to The Kapil Sharma Show?" no matter where I went, he said. Then, when destiny and hard work aligned, I reappeared and regained the show. Sidhu stated that he made sure to address Archana Puran Singh, who had taken his place on the program, prior to his return, adding, "Maine Archana ji ke liye bhi baat kari thi." I am a devotee of Durga; how could I return after hurting her heart? She agreed to those requests as well, and she's with me on the program. I'm grateful for all of your love and attention. I'm glad to be back on this program (I had also talked to Archana ji). As a Durga devotee, how could I cause her pain by coming back? I also carried out that demand, and she is now with me on the program.)

About The Great Indian Kapil Show

The first season was released on Netflix in 2024. After two successful seasons, the third is now scheduled to premiere on June 21. The program stars Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Archana Puran Singh.
