One of the most eagerly awaited Indian films of the year is War 2, Yash Raj Films' upcoming spy thriller. The marketing campaign will begin six weeks before the movie's debut. Additionally, the movie will be promoted by Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR separately, despite the fact that it represents their debut on-screen partnership.

According to sources, YRF is employing this unusual approach to make sure that the movie features the first frame of Hrithik and NTR together. The production company had made the decision to maintain the separation between the two performers during the publicity campaign.

"Every arrangement has been made with the understanding that Hrithik and Jr NTR will be promoting War 2 separately, will never share the platform, will never appear together in any promotional video before the release, and will never be seen with one another. The meeting of Hrithik and NTR is a rare occurrence in Indian film history, and the big screen will see a lot of bloodshed. YRF is explicit that the audience should first witness this rivalry before they see the two promote with camaraderie. A senior trade source said, "By preserving the conflict, which is the unique selling point of the film, they want to provide people with the best possible movie-watching experience."

War 2 is a continuation of the 2019 blockbuster War and a member of the YRF Spy Universe, which also includes the Tiger and Pathaan movies. In the past, the YRF Spy Universe has used additional novel marketing strategies. The star cast of Pathaan, for example, didn't give any interviews to the media, but the movie still managed to have the greatest opening in Bollywood history.
