Hina captioned the uncommon photo from her family album, "Kya likun mai dad… Aapki yaad aati hai bohot… always" (What do I write, dad? I miss you a lot), and "Your strongest girl."

In April 2021, Hina's father passed away from cardiac arrest. The actor was in Srinagar at the time and came back right away, but she tested positive for Covid-19 and had to isolate herself.
