Karan Johar, a filmmaker, just gave the movie a review and praised Ahaan's acting as "spectacular." The love story between Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), a temperamental musician, and Vaani (Aneet Padda), a reticent, aspiring journalist, is at the center of Saiyaara. The movie was lauded for the natural chemistry between the two main characters and the music, with the songs immediately becoming popular with viewers. YRF's CEO, Akshaye Widhani, is the producer of the movie.
