On July 15, Dheeraj Kumar, who is best known for his roles in Manoj Kumar's Roti Kapda Aur Makaan and for creating successful TV series like Om Namah Shivay and Adalat, passed away in a Mumbai hospital. In remembrance of him, a prayer meeting was held on Friday, bringing together industry experts and relatives to express their condolences and pay their respects.

Attending the prayer gathering was also seen Hema. She paid homage to Dheeraj and even paid a visit to his family to express her sympathy. Social media has seen a number of similar videos. The prayer session was also attended by actress Poonam Dhillon.

At the age of 79, Dheeraj Kumar passes away

Dheeraj passed away at the age of 79. He was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital with severe pneumonia.

He died from pneumonia at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital at 11:00 a.m. today. Because he had a fever, cold, and cough, he was brought to the hospital on Saturday due to his ill health. "He was brought to the ICU because of his age," Ajay Shukla, a close friend and family friend, told PTI.

According to an India Today story, Dheeraj was transferred to the hospital's Intensive Care Unit and placed on a ventilator, but all attempts to save him were unsuccessful.

Dheeraj Kumar was well-known for his work in Punjabi, Hindi, and television movies. The ceremony for the inauguration of the ISKCON temple in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, was one of his final public appearances. His wife, Zuby Kochar, is the only family member that outlived Dheeraj.
