Genelia Deshmukh is ready for the premiere of her next movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, which stars Aamir Khan. Prior to the film's release, the actress discussed her lengthy working hours and how she manages her personal and professional lives. Deepika Padukone's alleged departure from Spirit—which sparked a discussion about the actress's work-life balance—was caused by Sandeep Reddy Vanga's refusal to accept an eight-hour shift.

Genelia Deshmukh told Zoom in an interview that she believes the film's director has "fairly" extended the shoot to 12 hours while they are working.

S"It's tough, but it's not impossible," he stated. I work 10 hours a day, and there are occasions when the director requests that I increase it to 11 or 12 hours. I believe it's reasonable, but we just need time to implement those changes. "When you have a day or two where you have to overdo it, it's also an understanding and a process that needs to be done."

Deepika's support was also offered by celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Mani Ratnam, and others. Triptii Dimri was chosen to take Deepika's place in Spirit at the same time.

Regarding Sitaare Zameen Par

Taare Zameen Par is spiritually followed by Sitaare Zameen Par, which was helmed by R.S. Prasanna and features Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh.

The movie centers on a fallen basketball coach (Aamir Khan) who is assigned to mentor a group of neurodivergent adults as part of a social work project. He became enthusiastic despite his early reluctance, which resulted in a path of personal development and inclusion for both the coach and the player.

Ten newcomers are also featured in Sitaare Zameen Par. Ten up-and-coming actors are chosen by Aamir Khan Productions: Simran Mangeshkar, Naman Mishra, Rishabh Jain, Rishi Shahani, Ashish Pendse, Ayush Bhansali, Vedant Sharma, Samvit Desai, Gopi Krishna Varma, and Aroush Datta.

It is planned for release on June 20, 2025.
