Following the Ahmedabad plane crash, a ripple effect resulted in the cancellation of a number of additional Air India flights on Tuesday and Wednesday. Gaurav applauded the preventative measure the pilots are taking on X, formerly Twitter.

Due to technological difficulties, several Air India flights have been canceled since the incident on June 12, according to Gaurav. Hopefully, pilots have stopped flying planes with so many MELs on every flight. Their workload is significantly increased.

"Everyone knows that the 'Red' airline is being dispatched on minimum equipment's. 90+ MEL's every flight. DGCA should intervene and put an end to this," the content creator added, referring to the Minimum Equipment List, which is "a categorised list of on-board systems, instruments and equipment that may be inoperative for flight in a specified aircraft model."

In a video that he shared on Tuesday, Gaurav spoke in defense of the pilots who were involved in the Air India Flight 171 incident that occurred in Ahmedabad. He highlighted the strain that Indian airlines put on pilots by saying that it is simpler for airlines to file insurance claims if they blame the pilots, who are not in a position to defend themselves.

Air India flights are canceled.

With several flights being diverted or canceled, Air India has had a string of flight disruptions in the wake of the terrible Ahmedabad plane crash. Just on Monday, at least three 787 Dreamliners operated by big carriers such as British Airways, Lufthansa, and Air India made emergency returns to their departure airports not long after taking off.

A Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner plane bound for London crashed into a hostel complex on June 12, shortly after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, killing 241 passengers and crew.

The pre-flight inspections on Tuesday revealed several faults in the aircraft, prompting the cancellation of flight AI 143 from Delhi to Paris. Due to the lack of Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner planes, the Ahmedabad-London Gatwick service (AI 159) was canceled.
