The family and supporters breathed a sigh of relief last week when the family said that Prabhas' assistant had contacted them with an offer of financial assistance. But now, Venkat's family is saying that the call was a hoax.

Venkat still needs financial support because the caller who claimed to be Prabhas' assistant was a fraud.

A member of Prabhas' family responded to inquiries about him asking for assistance by saying, "Actually, nothing like that happened. In order to determine whether anyone can assist us, we have been answering every phone call we receive. Someone called us, claiming to be Prabhas Anna's assistant, but we don't know who it was. Later, we discovered that it was a hoax call. He is oblivious to the fact that something like this is occurring. We haven't gotten any financial assistance yet."

Venkat's daughter Sravanthi told us last week that Prabhas' crew had contacted them to provide financial help. "Daddy isn't well at all. In the ICU, he is in critical condition. A kidney transplant is necessary for him. We will need at least ₹50 lakh. Prabhas' helper contacted us and offered monetary support. They requested that we notify them when his transplant occurs in order to pay for it, she said.

₹2 lakh is donated by Vishwak Sen.

Nonetheless, Vishwak Sen appears to have given the family a check for ₹2 lakh to assist with medical expenses. "Vishwak Sen is the first hero from the film industry to know about Fish Venkat's health and donate ₹2 lakh," Venkat's family said in a video released by Sasi TV. This will be a great help to us; thank you. We implore everyone, whether they are little artists or famous heroes, to support Fish Venkat Anna in overcoming his health problem.

When Pawan Kalyan, an actor and Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, first learned about Venkat's medical condition earlier this year, he also gave the family 2 lakh rupees. "Right now we desperately need funds for the kidney transplant," the family said. Although it seems like not even Chiranjeevi is aware of his current predicament, no one else is. None of the organizations extended any help either. In addition, politician Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao gave ₹1 lakh earlier this year.
