Rakesh Roshan, the filmmaker and father of Hrithik Roshan, had neck angioplasty. With his daughter Sunaina Roshan assuring fans that he is "completely fine now," he is recovering in a Mumbai hospital.

Following an angioplasty, Rakesh Roshan was hospitalized.

A recent article stated that Rakesh Roshan had been hospitalized to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital. According to rumors, Rakesh was brought to the hospital on July 16 after his condition suddenly deteriorated.

Sunaina Roshan, his daughter, shared an update on his health in a brief chat with Amar Ujala Digital and verified the information.

“Yes, papa underwent an angioplasty in his neck, but he is now in perfect health. Nothing to worry about. He's taking a break, Sunaina stated.

The family is carefully monitoring his recuperation, according to India Forum. Since his father's hospitalization, Hrithik Roshan has consistently been there, making frequent visits. His sister Sunaina and partner Saba Azad have been with him throughout, too. "Rakesh Roshan has now been moved from the ICU to a general ward, and his condition is stable," sources said.

The subject was not discussed by Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife, Sussanne Khan. She said that she "wouldn't comment on anything pertaining to the family's private affairs."

Concerning Rakesh Roshan

Following Khudgarz, Rakesh went on to helm some of the biggest Bollywood films, including Karan Arjun, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gya, Krrish, and Krrish 3.

Additionally, Rakesh had a successful career in Bollywood during the 1970s and 1980s. He played supporting roles in a number of popular movies, including Khandaan, Khel Khel Mein, and Man Mandir.

It was disclosed earlier this year that Rakesh, who was originally scheduled to helm Krrish 4, has passed the reins to his son. With Krrish 4, Hrithik is now going to make his directorial debut.
