Fatima Sana Shaikh, an actress, claims to have mastered the skill of ignoring false information and social media discussions about her private life. In a candid conversation with HT, the actress, who is promoting her forthcoming movie Metro...In Dino, discusses her insecurities and how she handles them.

Regarding an actor's insecurities

In the Metro Fatima is a member of an ensemble in Dino that features seven other performers in major roles. "It's very easy to get insecure when there are so many actors and you don't know what the script is," Fatima says, "You can be insecure about how long your track is and what others are doing."

The actress claims that, however, the trust she and the other cast members have in director Anurag Basu prevents the insecurity from ever setting in. Fatima adds, "We all trust him, and we have this belief that whatever time our character gets will have a good arc, and you won't be forgotten."

Regarding her public and personal life

Subway Dino is an anthology tale that explores the difficulties love faces in the modern world. Actors like Fatima face the additional challenge of having their personal life in the public eye because they are public figures. The actor says, "It affects at one point," when discussing how she handles unwanted attention to her personal life, such as relationship news and rumors. It did at first. But then I understood it wasn't that crucial since someone only thinks about someone else for a second. Then, they consider their own thoughts. People are generally curious as to, "Who is thinking about me?"

Over the years, Fatima claims to have learned to ignore that noise. "I have realized this. He will type 'oh iski life me yeh chal raha hai' on Instagram or Reddit. But eventually, he starts to worry about his own life as well. Now, I don't put as much weight on that.

Fatima has been making headlines for her personal life during the past few days. She's seeing Vijay Varma, according to reports. But at the trailer launch of her Netflix movie Aap Jaisa Koi in Mumbai on Wednesday, she insisted she was single. "No one is there," Fatima answered when the media reporters attempted to pry into her private affairs. No decent men. They are exclusive to movies.

In addition to Fatima, Metro In Dino also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher. The film is set to be released on July 4. Fatima's next film, Aap Jaisa Koi, will be available on Netflix on July 11.
