Since Farah Khan, a filmmaker and choreographer, included Dilip, her chef, in her vlogs and culinary films, he has become well-known in his own right. The most recent video on her YouTube channel shows Dilip traveling back to his hometown of Darbhanga in Bihar for his sister-in-law's nuptials. He also displayed his three-story home, which was being built, and quipped that it needed a pool.

Dilip was seen in the video departing Mumbai for Bihar for his sister-in-law's wedding. In one of the earlier videos, he displayed a three-story structure that was being built, and in the most recent one, he provided an update on the project. Despite the fact that the house was still under construction, his parents, wife, and children were already residing there. He demonstrated how he used fabrics to briefly cover the windows.

She also mentioned Dilip's new home in Bihar in one of the episodes, telling Karan Wahi, "Dilip also has a three-story bungalow in Bihar. It has six bedrooms in it." Dilip has been a fan favorite since becoming well-known, and many people have been eager to see him interact with Farah. He also appeared in a commercial alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
