Farah Khan Jokes That Heroines Falling on Set Bring Box Office Luck, Mentions Kajol and Preity Zinta

Farah Khan, a filmmaker, has become quite popular with her vlogs featuring her chef Dilip, in which she goes to the houses of Bollywood stars to cook with them. In the most recent vlog, Farah paid a visit to Sanya Malhotra's home, and during their discussion, Farah observed that a movie is bound to be a hit if the female protagonist falls on set.

According to Farah Khan, a film will be successful if female leads fall on set.

The filmmaker saw a scar on the actor's leg while Farah and Sanya were conversing. According to Sanya, the accident happened on the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj's Pataakha during a bicycle mishap. After that, she remembered how the floor of Badhaai Ho wasn't gleaming during filming, so they cleaned it with oil, and how she slipped while dancing to the song Morni Banke. "The movie where a heroine falls, it becomes a hit," Farah replied to this. Farah said that the cause of her movies' success is that Sanya has tripped in almost every one of them.

Kajol and Preity both tumbled on sets, Farah recalls.

"Kajol used to keep falling in every movie like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and we used to say now the movie's a hit," Farah remembered. Preity Zinta tripped on a bridge while filming a scene in Kal Ho Naa Ho. We were happy that the movie will now be successful. I would push one or two individuals in the film.

In the meantime, on the professional front, Farah was most recently seen presenting the television reality program Celebrity MasterChef, which was judged by chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna. The winner of the program was actor Gaurav Khanna. In the upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which also features Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, and Maniesh Paul in important roles, Sanya will next be seen. The movie, which is directed by Shashank Khaitan, is set to hit theaters on September 12.
