Anirban Chakrabarti took no time to become a household name owing to his hit portrayal of Eken Babu. Soon after he started his journey as the Bengali detective on Hoichoi some years ago, he got noticed due to his strong performance. People of all ages are part of his fandom. After Eken Babu’s success, he has played versatile roles, like the wicked village head in Dev’s Pradhan and Srijit Mukherji’s Feluda’s Jatayu. Recently, Anirban got a magnificent gift from one of his fans.

In fact, he bagged the Best Actor in a Comic Role – Series in last year’s OTTplay Awards in Mumbai this year for playing Eken Babu in Season Six. However, this time, he was rather amazed by the praise coming from a child fan. He thought this to be a huge achievement.

The actor posted a photo on social media which shows his autograph on a page, and the page is framed. Anirban wrote, “These days most of the people take selfies. This kid from class six wanted an autograph. The kid found it so precious that the child asked the parents to frame it. One of their parents sent this photo to me. Such awards balance many unfulfilled wishes of life.”

Anirban thinks that the photo and the love entwined in it balanced many of his unfulfilled dreams. Anirban has been playing Eken Babu since 2018. The character won the hearts of the adults as well as the kids. The photo proves it.
