When it comes to his new song, Sapphire, Ed Sheeran seems to have copied his best friend Taylor Swift's strategy. Since last year, when he made many trips to India, the English singer-songwriter has been leaving clues regarding the song. The song includes Shah Rukh Khan's cameo, which thrilled the audience, as well as Arijit Singh's vocals. Ed Sheeran's latest release, Sapphire

After much anticipation, Ed released the three-minute film for his song Sapphire. Some of the images in the video, which was filmed in a guerilla manner during his travels to India, are available on his social media, such as recordings of him riding auto rickshaws or engaging with followers. Additionally, the film includes a selfie of Ed and Shah Rukh reciting the words of Sapphire as well as the well-known video of Arijit driving Ed about on his scooter. Ed has been making fun of the desi beats and the phrase "cham cham sitaare warghi" for some time now. Ed described Arijit as "the final jigsaw piece" of his song and described Shah Rukh as "love that guy" in a recent blog post about the song. In addition, he joked that an entire Punjabi rendition of the song featuring Arijit would be released soon.

Shah Rukh Khan fans overjoyed with his cameo

Even if it was only for a few seconds, Shah Rukh's presence in the video delighted the audience. "Is no one going to talk about SRK peek (heart emoji)," one supporter remarked on YouTube. "He is a cutie pie, he should have had more screen time," another said. One user referred to the song as legendary, stating, "This is iconic on so many levels. Shah Rukh Khan's cameo AND Arijit Singh in the same video like whatttttt." X (formerly Twitter) users were just as ecstatic, with one writing, "Shah Rukh Khan, Ed Sheeran, and Arijit Singh in a single video, I'm already in heaven." “Shah Rukh Khan making an honorary appearance in Sapphire by Ed Sheeran,” read another post that included a video of his cameo.
