Radhika and Vinay posted a joint statement on Instagram on Thursday, recalling Shefali and saying, "Yesterday Was The Prayer Meeting." With Our First Photo Session Together, We Bid Farewell to the End... "Kaanta Laga" is the CD inlay card.

The two directors reminisced about their time with Shefali during the production of the legendary 2002 music video and stated that they would never make another Kaanta Laga because Shefali was the only Kaanta Laga girl. "You Always Stated That You Wanted To Be The One And Only 'Kaanta Laga' Girl." As a result, we never wrote a sequel. And We Never Will. We're Permanently Retiring 'Kaanta Laga'. It was always yours. Shefali...RIP, it will always be yours," they said.

The passing of Shefali Jariwala

According to reports, Shefali had a cardiac arrest last Friday night and was taken to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi. But she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

To determine the cause of her death, the Mumbai Police had her body sent for a post-mortem. The police said the cause of death had been 'reserved' following the autopsy. Many people from the television and film industries attended her final rites, which were held on Saturday.

Following her success with Kaanta Laga, Shefali starred with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in the 2004 picture Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. But because she was battling epilepsy, she turned down a lot of job offers, making her film career brief. She made additional television appearances in well-liked reality programs, such as Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye (seasons 5 and 7), where she gained more fame. She was joined by her spouse, actor Parag Tyagi, in the latter.
