Due to its poignant narrative and performances, numerous families are now flocking to the theaters to see Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal, the newest film in Malayalam. In a exclusive interview, the film's director and screenwriter, S Vipin, talked about how he came up with the plot.

'Attempted to make a realistic movie with commercial elements'

The director revealed that Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal is motivated by several situations that individuals may have encountered in their own lives, rather than by a specific occurrence. All of the characters in this film are relatable, and I have developed each one in great detail. He stated, "Even though I appreciate realistic films, I wanted to incorporate commercial aspects into my directing to make it more attractive to viewers."

"I wanted to make a movie that people could enjoy and have a light-hearted experience in theatres," Vipin said further. I've therefore made sure the film has plenty of gripping moments. For example, he pointed out that Siju Wilson's character was shown in slow motion visiting Anaswara Rajan's Anjali in her home after her grandmother passed away.

"Included details at every stage of scripting"

Vipin claims he began developing the screenplay in 2022. "I started working on a thread and eventually finished it, adding all the necessary details at each stage," he stated. "I concentrated entirely on crafting a suitable balance between humorous and emotionally charged scenes in the film," the director continued. He also stated his desire to collaborate on inexpensive films that would surely delight audiences. "I like to work on comedy scripts and cast newbies," he stated.

Anjali, the protagonist of Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal, is impacted by her worried parents, a compulsive fiancé, and a bothersome, obsessive partner. Meanwhile, her grandmother's death brings turmoil to her life and that of her family and those around them. The film also stars Azeez Nedumangad, Anaswara Rajan, Siju Sunny, and Joemen Jyothir.
