Audiences and critics have been wowed by Saiyaara, Mohit Suri's most recent love drama, which stars debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. In an interview with India Today, Mohit admitted that at first he had doubts about whether Ahaan could handle the main part in Saiyaara. Aditya Chopra inquired of Mohit Suri if he would produce his film with Ahaan, according to Mohit Suri.

But Mohit thought Ahaan wouldn't suit the part since he was "so nice and sweet." "Ahaan was in the Yash Raj system, and was supposed to make a movie with them, which didn't happen," he stated. When Adi (Chopra) Sir read my screenplay, he inquired as to whether I would take him into consideration. Adi Sir responded, "I've got just the guy for you," since I always wanted to create this picture with newcomers. Ahaan was so kind and pleasant when I first met him that I didn't get the impression that he was the person at all. Adi Sir wanted to give him a try, so I told him.

Prior to casting Ahaan, Mohit accompanied him to dinner, drinks, and the bar.

Even after having a "formal dinner and a couple of beers," Mohit still thought that Ahaan was "holding something back." "However, he wasn't yet the person." I could tell he was keeping something concealed. As a result, I said to him, "Just call me by my name, and don't call me sir. Take me to your world." When I saw him sitting on the bar—not the chair, but the bar itself—at the conclusion of our evening at a nightclub, I knew that this was my man. I required that kind of vigor.

Ahaan was informed that he would not be the main actor in Saiyaara.

Mohit remained unconvinced that Ahaan belonged to Saiyaara, even after that. He was informed that he wouldn't be receiving the movie. Mohit stated that Ahaan "lowered his guard when he thought the audition was over, and that's when his real self came through." He went on to say that he "finally saw the spark I'd been looking for." He claimed that the character was developed "not just as I had written him, but as a fusion of the script and who Ahaan truly is today."

Regarding Saiyaara

The movie follows the tale of Krish (Ahaan), an aspiring singer, and Vaani (Aneet), a lyricist who writes for his persona. Vaani and Krish are ideal for one another, despite having very different lifestyles, views, and backgrounds. Will they be able to grasp that reality in spite of their age and difficulties? According to the movie's synopsis, "flawed, imperfect individuals make for a perfect love story," and Saiyaara is all about celebrating the one love story that is so profound, so pure, and so loving that it is completely unconditional.
