On Monday, Shoaib posted a YouTube video of Dipika's first appearance on camera following surgery. She was seen crying and expressing gratitude to her followers for their well wishes and prayers.

Dipika was heard saying in the video, "I'll only say this much right now — thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the prayers you have made." She also mentioned how much she was in pain when she had a cough, adding that the stitches were made worse by coughing. When she "recovers and feels better," Dipika told her followers that she will speak with everyone at a later time.
