Actor Shoaib Ibrahim has provided a significant update on his wife Dipika Kakar, who recently had a 14-hour operation for stage 2 liver cancer. He disclosed that Dipika was released from the hospital in 11 days, but because the tumour was malignant, she would need to continue returning for checkups.

Shoaib Ibrahim revealed in his most recent vlog that Dipika will be released after eleven days.

He stated while providing her health update, "She got discharged after 11 days and has come for a check-up." My family and I have gone through an extremely challenging time these past few days, but we appreciate everyone's prayers and support. This is only one portion; there is still a lot to come. We have only passed one milestone, but everything is well at the moment. We still have a lot to investigate moving forward. We'll continue to follow that as the doctors instruct us. However, the surgery—the most significant aspect—was successful. Dipika is also making a good recovery. Indeed, many things remain to be completed. Those will hopefully also be successful.

Dipika was extremely moved as she exited the hospital after her 14-hour surgery, and she thanked each of her surgeons individually. She was also observed embracing the nurses.

Shoaib reminisced about the poignant experience in his vlog when the doctor announced that Dipika's tumor was malignant, stating that they both sobbed in the doctor's company. He commended the doctor's comprehension, pointing out that the doctor allowed them time by saying, "Take your time, we understand."

Shoaib stated, "Everything is fine," when discussing Dipika's health, "but we’ll have to keep coming back for follow-ups because the tumour was malignant." That circumstance must be watched. They've also requested that we return in a week. Following that, they will determine if any additional treatment is required or if nothing should be done at all. We're taking it one step at a time for the time being.

Dipika reunites with her son Ruhaan and other relatives in the film. Shoaib Ibrahim did the majority of the chatting in the video while Dipika sat through it.

Shoaib intended to post the vlog giving Dipika a health update, but he delayed it in deference to the victims of the Ahmedabad plane tragedy. He and Dipika expressed their sympathy to the families impacted by the tragedy in the film.

Dipika Kakar has a surgery that lasts 14 hours

In May, Dipika Kakar was found to have a liver tumor. Dipika had a 14-hour procedure for her stage 2 liver cancer earlier this month. In his YouTube Vlog video, Shoaib disclosed that Dipika's gall bladder and a small section of her liver were removed during the procedure. "Her tumour was taken out nicely. Due to a stone, the gall bladder was also removed following the operation. A small portion of the liver was also removed because it had a tumor. "There's nothing to worry about it since the liver is an organ that regenerates itself," he stated.

The actress announced to her fans and followers on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. A portion of her message stated, "As you all are aware, the last few weeks have been quite difficult for us... walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper part of my stomach... and then finding out it's a tennis ball size tumour in the liver and then finding out that the tumour is second stage malignant (cancerous)... it has been one of the most difficult time we have seen, experienced!"
