In the month after her surgery for stage 2 liver cancer, Dipika Kakar has spoken out about her ongoing recovery, acknowledging that some days are especially challenging, leaving her with no motivation to even move.

Because of this, she hasn't been posting videos on her YouTube account on a regular basis.

Dipika discusses her absence

The actress, who is married to actor Shoaib Ibrahim, discussed her health, ongoing therapy, and future acting aspirations in a YouTube Live session on Tuesday. She disclosed that her physical challenges have prevented her from producing vlogs as she had intended.

"Main joh ek jagah tikk ke baith nahi paati thi, yahan wahan ghoomte rehna, kuch na kuch khurafat karte rehte (I couldn't sit still in one place, I would keep wandering here and there, always getting into some kind of mischief) and suddenly I've nothing to do." The doctor has, of course, instructed me to keep my body moving. However, sometimes I simply want to relax and not do anything.

The Sasural Simar Ka actress revealed that she will begin a new course of treatment next week while discussing her health. "By God's grace, my stitches are healing well. From next week, I will begin a treatment called Target therapy. I will need to take a pill during oral Target therapy.

The actress said in a live Q&A with followers that she has taken up poetry writing once again, adding, "I started writing since the time Shoaib came into my life. You probably know this about me. I've begun creating poetry once more.

When asked by a fan about her return to acting, Dipika replied. She said she would love to go back into acting once her doctor gives her the all clear. My real intention, she stated, was to plan—get back in shape and return to work—after Ruhaan stopped breastfeeding. However, everyone was taken by surprise by how it all went down. However, I would adore to, once I receive the all clear from the doctor.

Dipika Kakar's battle against cancer

In May, Dipika Kakar received a diagnosis of a liver tumor. Dipika had a 14-hour procedure in June to treat her stage 2 liver cancer. Shoaib disclosed in his YouTube vlog that Dipika's gall bladder and a little bit of her liver were removed during the operation.

In his Vlog, Shoaib provided a health update regarding Dipik last week. The tumor was characterized as "grade three and poorly differentiated," which he said was "quite aggressive," even though Dipika had no cancer cells. "Earlier, we thought that maybe if the tumor was removed, then everything would be fine. At the moment, there are no cancer cells in the body. However, the biopsy report we got and the PET scan we looked over showed a more severe condition. The tumor was categorized as grade three and poorly differentiated, indicating that it was rather aggressive. He said, "There is a strong possibility that it will happen again."
