The Sardaar Ji 3 controversy explained

Less than a week ago, the trailer for Sardaar Ji 3 was released, and the movie's crew was immediately criticized for including Hania. Following the attack on Pahalgam in April, it was decided not to use Pakistani actors in movies or include artists in creative endeavors. Nonetheless, Diljit told the BBC Asian Network that the movie was filmed months before the Pahalgam incident and Operation Sindoor. Additionally, he backed the producers' decision to distribute the movie internationally.

Sunny Deol and the producers of Border 2 have been asked by well-known film groups to remove Diljit from the movie. He was also approached by Imtiaz Ali to take his place in his next endeavor.
