Because of the controversy surrounding his movie Sardaar Ji 3, which also stars Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, there had been rumors that Diljit Dosanjh would be replaced in Border 2. Nevertheless, Diljit has refuted these assertions by posting a behind-the-scenes video of himself filming the war picture.

The facts are laid out by Diljit Dosanjh.

Diljit put an end to rumors and affirmed his continued participation in the initiative by posting a video on Instagram on Wednesday.

Diljit's video offers a peek into his day on the sets of Border 2. He starts by getting out of his vanity car while wearing his uniform, then strolling onto the set as he gets ready for a dance scene. Diljit is seen rehearsing and practicing the scene in the video. After that, he's shown dancing with them. The title track of Border, named Ke Ghar Kab Aaoge, is also audible.

Diljit posted the video with the caption "BORDER 2".

In support of Diljit, fans and supporters flocked to the comment section of his post with encouraging words. “@diljitdosanjh on top always,” one social media user commented as producer Guneet Monga posted a heart emoji. The caption reads, "Still on top."

Diljit in trouble

The casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Diljit's most recent movie, Sardaar Ji 3, has drawn criticism for him over the past few days. The movie premiered abroad on June 27. It wasn't made available in India. The recent Pahalgam terrorist assault on April 22 and India's Operation Sindoor on May 7, during which airstrikes targeted terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistani-occupied Kashmir, have sparked the stir.

The rumors surrounding Border 2

Following the reports, there have been calls to replace Diljit from Border 2. There have been rumors that the producers of Border 2 are likely to fire Diljit from the movie and replace him with actor-singer Ammy Virk.

But, according to the Hindustan Times, a source close to the production stated that "There is no plan to replace or remove Diljit from Border 2. Long before the recent unfortunate events, his casting was approved around nine months ago. It would now be logistically impossible to replace him since almost half the picture has already been filmed."

The next installment in the 1997 smash film Border is Border 2. Anurag Singh is the director of the movie. Diljit joined the project in September of last year, and he will co-star with Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty.
