The federal trial for Sean "Diddy" Combs' sex trafficking and racketeering has brought up three new famous names. During the testimony of Mia, Diddy's former assistant who worked for the rapper between 2009 and 2017, the names were brought up. Jurors saw Mia's SMS about celebrities.

According to the New York Post, Mia, who testified under the alias and anonymously, messaged the founder of Bad Boy Records on March 8, 2019, requesting that he watch the Netflix series "Love," which was directed by Judd Apatow. Mia also discussed the passing of record executive and media magnate Andre Harrell, the man who is widely regarded as the one who found the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper, in another message she sent Diddy on May 14, 2020. Mia sent Diddy a text saying, "Dre has broken my heart. I've been weeping for you all week as well."

Later, Mia messaged Diddy regarding the passing of actor Chad Boseman. "How are you? Yes, life is insane," Diddy retorted.

Mia's additional revelations

At the trial, Mia disclosed additional information about Diddy. Mia informed the jury that Diddy had once placed a tracking device on the car of his on-again, off-again girlfriend Cassie Ventura. "He's stolen my phone many times, he's stolen Cassie's phone many times," she said. "He's put tracking devices on her car." I was scared because I didn't know what he was capable of.

According to Mia's testimony before the jury, Diddy allegedly sexually assaulted her on several occasions. In settlement discussions for unpaid wages in 2017, Mia's lawyer Brian Steel grilled her about why she didn't accuse Diddy of sexual assault. Mia claimed that she initially sought $10 million for overtime, severance, and bonuses that Diddy supposedly owed her but never paid. In mediation, however, she agreed to a settlement of $400,000, which was shared with her counsel in 2017.

Mia said that she wasn't aware that sexual assault might be utilized in settlement discussions and that it was in 2024 that she first spoke with prosecutors about the charges of sexual assault.
