During a recent interaction with Variety, the actor retraced her film journey. She told the international publication that she believes her first foray was in a Telugu film, the 2004 romcom Malliswari, in which she plays the title role of a wealthy heiress. After that, Katrina began gaining experience in front of the camera and gradually met directors and producers. She felt like she had accomplished her goal in the modelling world; she had grasped the scenario. The actor had accomplished some of her objectives, and her emotions and desires were in the movies, too.

Katrina's early career highlights include Welcome, Singh Is King, and Namastey London. She claims that the 2009 thriller New York marked a turning point in his career. The actor also told the international publication that she had to decline an offer from the West not long ago because of personal issues. However, she remarked that she is confident it will come to fruition, and she is excited about the prospect of turning a new page in her story.
