With the unveiling of her new project, Nothing to Hide, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu caused a sensation online on Friday. The statement was made by the actress on her social media account with a short teaser video. Samantha was the star of the video. However, aside from the new program, many fans observed that Samantha was missing a tattoo on her back that she had gotten a few years prior when she was married to Naga Chaitanya.

In the video, Samantha approaches the camera and uses a marker to write "Nothing to Hide." After that, she turns around and walks away. Some supporters pointed out that Samantha was missing her YMC tattoo, which represented her movie, Ye Maaya Chesave. One admirer exclaimed, "Samantha got her YMC tattoo removed!" Another person chimed in, saying, "I don't see any tattoo."

Samantha's tattoo's significance

Ye Maaya Chesave, which starred Samantha in her first starring role in 2010, made the tattoo noteworthy. Additionally, she met the movie's protagonist, Naga Chaitanya, through it. Shortly after that, the two started dating, and in 2017, they were married. The movie is credited by many fans as the "cupid" between the two.

But in 2020, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha split up, and in 2021, their divorce was legally completed. Because of that, fans are guessing that Samantha had the YMC tattoo removed. However, other theories suggested that because it was a brand campaign, Samantha had just hidden the tattoo for the commercial.

Earlier this year, fans had noticed that Samantha had already started working on getting rid of one of her tattoos that had a connection to Naga Chaitanya. "It appears that Samantha is at last having her tattoo removed. After her wrist tattoo appeared faded, Reddit said in May that it was a matching tattoo with Chay, which means "Create your own reality."

Samantha regrets getting tattoos.

Samantha had expressed her regret over getting tattooed in an AMA with fans in April 2022. "Some tattoo ideas you'd love to try some day," a fan inquired. In response, Samantha said in a video she uploaded on her Instagram Stories, "You know the one thing I'd tell my younger self is never ever get a tattoo. At no time. Never ever. Don't ever get a tattoo." She maintained a smile throughout the video.
