Lee Byung-hun, who played the Frontman in Squid Game, discussed the potential for a Frontman spin-off in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"Since the beginning, Director Hwang and I have been joking about a Front Man spin-off," he stated. We haven't truly examined these characters in their entirety, so we both believed that the recruiter or the Front Man might be intriguing for additional material. Their background and personality remain somewhat unclear. It would be a lot of fun to conduct a thorough character analysis of the Front Man.

He also stated that he would be happy to play the lead role. The character has already been created and planned out, and he is drawn to him. I am just as interested in learning more about him as the fans are. "I would be quite prepared to share that story," said Byung-hun.

Will there be an American version of Squid Game?
