Despite being together for more than ten years, actress Diana Penty recently provided some uncommon insights into her enduring relationship with her partner, diamond dealer Harsh Sagar, explaining the reason why the couple is not in a hurry to get married.

Diana reveals about her twelve-year romance

In an open discussion with Hauterrfly, Diana discussed the topic of marriage, saying that they are receptive to the notion but there is no need to formalize it.

"Indeed, I am not single." My spouse and I have been together for 12 years and have known each other for 22 years, which is half of my life, but I'm not going to shout about it from a rooftop. Consequently, in my mind, I am married, even if I am not. The situation is the same since you are treating the relationship with the same respect," the performer explained.

The Cocktail celebrity stated that their families are supportive and that, above all else, they care about their happiness and do not push them to get married.

"Both of our families are laid back, and they value what we have. Our happiness is their top priority. We get along, we own a dog together, everyone knows we're together, so there's no hurry, even if we like the idea of marriage. It's practically like being married, except that it's not on paper, and it makes no difference to me or him, she said.

Concerning Diana Penty's projects

With the hit romantic comedy Cocktail, which starred Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan, Diana made her Bollywood debut in 2012. Since then, she has produced a varied filmography that includes movies like Happy Bhag Jayegi, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, Azaad, and Chhaava.

In Detective Sherdil, which was released on Zee 5 on June 20, Diana is now sharing the screen alongside Diljit Dosanjh. The movie, written by Sagar Bajaj, Ravi Chhabriya, and Ali Abbas Zafar, is Ali's second work with Diljit, following Jogi. The cast of Detective Sherdil includes Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Chunky Panday, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sumeet Vyas, and Banita Sandhu.
