On the anniversary of Dilip Kumar's passing, Dharmendra becomes emotional

Dharmendra said, "Aaj ka din kitna ghamnak aur manhoos din hai...Aaj ke din, mere bahot hi pyaare bhai, aap sab ke chaheteye adakar, film industry ke khuda, ek nek aur mahaan insaan...Dalip saheb...hamein hamesha hameesha ke liye chhod kar chalee gaye. I reassure him that he is somewhere nearby because I am unable to tolerate this shock. Today is a day of such misfortune and sorrow. Dilip sir, my dear brother, your loving artist, the God of the film industry, a genuine and outstanding man, departed from us for eternity on this day. Although I can handle this shock, I remind myself that he is close to me.

The late Dilip Kumar is still in Saira banu's memory

Calling her late husband an "inspiration for six generations of actors and the guiding star for those yet to come," Saira recalled him. "The lack of Sahib could never be overcome. but I'm still with him. united in mind, body, and spirit. My soul has learned to walk alongside him in this life and the one that follows, even when he is not there. On this day every year, I feel like I'm holding Sahib's memories in my arms as if they were fragile flowers," the party said in a message. Dilip was referred to by Saira as "an entire era."

"But the guy behind the icon was a warm, funny, and intelligent man." I can vividly recall one evening when the sounds of classical music permeated our house, Sahib softly escaped the bustling darbar, longing for a moment to unwind...He immortalized the mundane. And with every joke, every line, and every gaze, he left behind something priceless: a love that endures. Dilip Sahib is immortal. Beyond time. Beyond existence. May God continue to envelop him in His light and compassion. The 80-year-old performer said, "Amen," in conclusion.

Dilip passed away in a Mumbai hospital on July 7, 2021, at the age of 98, following a protracted illness.
