Dilip sir, my dear brother, your loving artist, the God of the film industry, a genuine and outstanding man, departed from us for eternity on this day. Although I can handle this shock, I remind myself that he is close to me.

The late Dilip Kumar is still in Saira banu's memory

Calling her late husband an "inspiration for six generations of actors and the guiding star for those yet to come," Saira recalled him.
