Kuberaa's release is on Dhanush's mind. In Sekhar Kammula's social drama film, the National Award-winning performer portrays a beggar who overcomes the difficulties in his life. As the actor revealed at the pre-release ceremony of the film in Hyderabad, he went to great measures to play the role. According to Dhanush, he begged on the streets of Tirupati while playing the role.

What Dhanush said

"I trusted the director's name and reputation and agreed to the picture right away," Dhanush stated at the pre-release party. However, he ultimately forced me to beg on Tirupati's streets. Following Sir, Kuberaa is my second Telugu movie and fifty-first Tamil film. Actually, Sekhar Sir had contacted me about the script for Kuberaa before you did. Sekhar was observed clapping and laughing at Dhanush's remarks.

Previously, Dhanush had recounted spending hours filming in a dumpyard. "To see another part of the world, a sight which you're not exposed to... You're always in your comfort zone, like you do only what's convenient, you're protected," he said during the release of the song Pippi Pippi Dum Dum Dum. I come from a very humble background.

Regarding Kuberaa

The actor's role was given to the audience in the trailer. In the trailer, he appeared almost unrecognizable, wearing tattered attire and sporting a dense beard. Dhanush will make his Telugu debut in the film, which also stars Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in the main roles. Additionally, this is his debut publication of the year.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) approved the film's pan-India release. The CBFC granted Kuberaa a UA certificate after 19 scenes from the original cut were removed, reducing the film by 13 minutes and 41 seconds.

Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao of Amigos Creations have scheduled the release of Kuberaa for June 20.
