Devoleena Bhattacharjee, an actress, and her spouse, Shanawaz Shaikh, shared images from their son Joy's Annaprashan ceremony, giving viewers a glimpse into his life and revealing his face for the first time. They described it as a cherished occasion.

Baby Joy's face is revealed by Devoleena

In a ritual known as the Annaprashan ceremony, where a youngster is first given solid food, Devoleena posted images from the event on Instagram on Tuesday. Devoleena at last unveiled her little boy Joy's face to the public in the photographs, asking for prayers for his health and happiness.

Devoleena posted the photos and said, "With folded hands and hearts full of gratitude, we celebrated our beloved son Joy's Annaprashan, Joy's first sacred taste of Anna (rice)."

"May Maa Annapurna bless him with health, knowledge, and a life full of abundance. A beautiful milestone, a memory for a lifetime," she continued.

During his Annaprashan ceremony, which was performed in accordance with Bengali traditions, Baby Joy wore a conventional Bengali dhoti and kurta and stole the show. For the occasion, Devoleena wore a saree.

Devoleena's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya co-star Vishal Singh was also present at the small, private Annaprashan ceremony held in Mumbai with family members and close friends.

On December 18 of last year, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and her husband, Shanawaz Shaikh, a fitness instructor, welcomed their son into the world. She announced the good news with a touching video, writing, "Hello world! Our little angel BOY is here...18/12/2024 (sic)." She had put months of conjecture to rest by sharing a heartfelt post in August that included images from a traditional panchamrit ceremony in which she announced her pregnancy.

In December 2022, Devoleena wed her lover Shanawaz Shaikh in a courtroom ceremony in Lonavala that was attended by only close friends. Devoleena is best known for playing Gopi Modi in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, one of television's longest-running series. After that, she appeared on Salman Khan's reality program, Bigg Boss 13, which is still regarded as one of the best seasons in the history of the show.
