In a recent interview, the actor Deepshikha Nagpal spoke about how Shah Rukh Khan and other celebrities were more modest at the start of their careers than they are now. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she spoke about filming Koyla (1997) alongside Shah Rukh and how he would adapt on set in a time when there were no vanity vans.

When Deepshikha was asked if she had seen a shift in the way that stars conduct themselves now as opposed to in the 1990s, she used Shah Rukh as an illustration. “Acting wasn’t a career before now; it wasn’t a respected job,” she said.
