In the Motion Pictures sector, Deepika was selected as one of the honorees for the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026. In a live broadcast, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce released the list, which included Deepika along with worldwide celebrities like Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, and Stanley Tucci.

Hundreds of nominations are used to choose the honorees. The list was revealed on Wednesday by fellow Walk of Famers Richard Blade and Eugenio Derbez, who alternated between making the announcement.

The inductees were chosen from the five categories of motion pictures, television, live theater and live performance, recording, and sports entertainment.

Other members of the class of 2026 include performers Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Molly Ringwald, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rami Malek, and Noah Wyle; former NBA player and current sports analyst Shaquille O'Neal; and Good Morning America co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, who will be honored at a double ceremony. The late Italian special effects artist Carlo Rambaldi and director Tony Scott will both be recognized.

The announcement of Deepika's name was made via live stream. She is the first Indian actress to be so honored. With Vin Diesel, she made her Hollywood debut in XXX: Return of Xander Cage. The movie came out in 2017.
