Following a racism scandal involving recovered social media posts, Cierra Ortega, a 25-year-old content developer and a favorite among Love Island USA Season 7 viewers, was formally evicted from the villa on Sunday. Nic Vansteenberghe and Ortega were a couple throughout the entire season. Her departure was cause for celebration among her followers, but her partner was at a loss.

The Cause of Cierra Ortega's Dismissal

Ortega, a Phoenix native with Mexican and Puerto Rican roots, faced criticism after a 2015 Instagram Story and a 2020 TikTok video came to light, in which she used a racial slur against Asians to describe her smile while talking about Botox.

She stated in the 2020 article, "I can also be a little chky when I laugh/smile so I love getting a mini brow lift," and in 2015, "Still chkin' at the top." She lost about 200,000 Instagram followers in 48 hours as a result of these postings, which were disseminated via Reddit and TikTok.

Fans demanded her dismissal, pointing out that Yulissa Escobar had previously been forced out after podcast excerpts revealed her use of the N-word.

"This sort of language is unacceptable," a manufacturing insider told The US Sun. For racist comments, we also expelled Yulissa.

"Due to personal reasons, Cierra has departed the villa," Iain Stirling, the narrator, said in Sunday's program. When a fan accused her of being silent, Ariana Madix, the host, replied, "Not silent." You have no idea what you're saying."

In a blindfolded kiss challenge and pairing with Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Cierra Ortega made a splash when she entered as the first female bombshell.

What will become of Nicolas Vansteenberghe?

After Cierra Ortega was kicked off of Love Island USA Season 7, Nicolas "Nic" Vansteenberghe was the only guy in the villa. 24-year-old Jacksonville native Nic had the option of staying or leaving. He chose to stay because he had unresolved feelings for Olandria Carthen.

Although some fans doubt his sincerity, it is possible that their previous relationship, which was only momentarily revived following Casa Amor, may grow stronger. Nic's future depends on fresh pairings as Casa Amor approaches.
